Dr. Avinab Marahatta Nepali is a computer scientist specializing in energy-efficient cloud and edge computing, AI-driven resource management, and sustainable distributed systems. With a Ph.D. from the Institute of Computing Technology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, his research has spanned institutions across China, Israel, Norway, and Spain.
His work bridges academia and practice — from contributing to nationally funded research programs to architecting government information systems in Nepal. He is currently Co-founder of the Center for Multidisciplinary Studies and Innovation (CeMuSI) in Kathmandu.
He is a member of IEEE, ACM, and IAENG, and holds a Category A registration with the Nepal Engineering Council. He received the Nepal Vidya Bhushan Awards 'A' in 2024, presented by the President of Nepal.
